The first is Goblin Blues. This is the same as playing the guitar.

When I first got my first guitar on at a very young age I heard some stuff about blues, jazz, etc. My first musical memory was playing the chords of Trap It. One of those blues chords was Tropic Thunder and I didn’t think twice about it, so I tried to play it straight. It’s really awesome to hear how all of those chords get played when we use it in harmony (I like that, it’s almost always a chord progression). What I can say is that the guitar tone is much warmer and it reminds me a lot of the jazz chord progression in my head.

But then I discovered a Goblin Blues playing technique. It doesn’t feel like a real guitar chord, but it does play very well with any bass or guitar combo So I tried it out. I’d been trying to learn it all the way through high school and finally I tried it out with a friend of mine. I found it to be a very unique riff that was very catchy.

Now I’d never performed with a bass player before, so was there something you enjoyed playing with that you didn’t learn while playing with a bass What chords do you find interesting

I’ve always loved bass chords. They’re like that rock hard, rock hard, rock hard vibe you hear in music. That guitar will always sound different from whatever I play, it reminds me a lot of a rocko’s, but it’s very similar, with a bass riff really.

I’ve always loved bass chords. I just like finding chords that have a kick, just the right feel and have a nice, well defined riff. Bass rhythms are the kind that play the bass very very well.

I was playing with a small group of friends at a small show there. All the bass players wanted to practice and play with some of the other guitarists that played with me. Some guys just wanted to see what it would be like to be in the bass room. So, our first practice session with all the guys was with that kind of a band, it was really fun The bass players were very nice, they asked me to sing along to anything their way, so it wasn’t really a real rehearsal, it worked for us all
