Google Maps has just launched a new edition that makes use of the latest high-resolution imagery from its data centre in the US.
They’ve now captured the images of two high-resolution landmarks, the first used to display traffic along a route to the White House.
On the White House map, you can see the two high-resolution buildings, and how they’ve shifted, with much more detail.
The two high-resolution buildings are one, and one is shown in the second picture. Google says that’s more like a big, fancy US Embassy building, rather than the big, fancy US Capitol building.
A map shot using Google’s new map service, Maps of London, shows the buildings and other buildings used along the routes across London.
In that image, you’ll see a smaller pave of the White House as opposed to the two new high-resolution buildings.
But there are other high-resolution buildings as well.
The map above contains images taken from the new Google Maps service.

The changes in Google’s approach come after the UK Parliament put forward the High Street Bill in October.
It’s meant that new low-density developments will be able to use the high-resolution data, rather than being shown off via the service.

New data
Google has already said that they’re going to be introducing the new Google Maps service in December, but that its rollout will take about four months.
For the new Google Maps service to take effect, they need at least four high-resolution landmarks - one in New York and one in Dallas - from existing Google maps.
