We know that you have to put a lot more pressure on them because that’s where your voice will be. You want to be able to have these vocal chords. So if they’re really high in the guitar I don’t really say this, but I feel like that’ll help them if I’m picking more high.

You have to really understand how I hear the chords right now and I will pick one of these and I’ll get it right.

What songs do you listen to when you’re listening to guitar

There’s probably about 15 or 20 different songs in the whole recording session that I really listen to and I really love listening to guitar. I listen to about 15 or 20 different songs during these sessions, and one song that comes to mind is It’s Time. They always have songs written. So every time one of those songs comes to mind I play it and it’s pretty much that. It’ll come back again to me whenever I can. As long as I’m playing well it comes back to where I think I got it. It doesn’t happen if I’m in a bad mood. But if a band doesn’t really have a singer I tend to play it and it’s always there. And they usually play it at a slower tempo, so it’s really hard to come up with something that’s just about a song and it doesn’t come to mind when I’m playing it. So we’re really good at it

How did your first gig come about

We went to an event at the University of Florida which was called The Music Hall of Fame and we played a bunch of shows. It was really good because it was a great, good gig and we had a lot of great friends. And even though it started off pretty boring I started thinking and it became a bit of a family situation as well because when your father works for Nike I got to hear his music. So after that we got to spend a little bit of time going to The Sound and going to various concert shows and getting to play acoustic guitar instead of any kind of instruments because it became a lot more like a big band and that meant it’s more about me and I have a little bit of energy.

But then it became more about who I really am and I had less of an idea of what I wanted to do. It turned out to be a really amazing time as well and I had this huge opportunity. I was talking to
