Do you really think my music is so bad that it needs to be punished

I think that what most people think of my music makes it pretty difficult for me to take risks, says the 19-year-old from Toronto. It feels like a little slap in the face for everyone. I would like to see the world take notice of the music I’m getting into and think it’s pretty good.

And it might be easy to say it’s a bit of a slap in the face. However, this is just Canada for the faint of heart.

I’m really into Canadian punk, says 19-year-old Kristy. I love everything about that place. What makes it so unique is the punk scenes.

In the early ’80s, the scene began to grow in bands to replace and replace American punk bands with Canadian punk band A Little Rock. Canadian rock ‘n’ roll, with its unique American twist, was an accepted form of punk in the ’90s, and as the scene grew in strength, the ’90s saw a resurgence in Canadian heavy metal.

The ’90s, the peak years, were the peak years for Canadian heavy metal, says Kristy.

For the last 10 years, the heavy metal scene at Vancouver’s Fillmore West shows, the first ever Metalocalypse, has been a huge success.

It started with American heavy metal, but we just got here from our roots as a small band, and just started getting our name out here in America and seeing how huge people have come up in Canada, says Kristy. We’ve come here because we’re so excited about seeing Canadian heavy metal, really excited about seeing a band of this size play at a venue like you can’t even walk into.

There’s also a lot of hype around Metalocalypse this new summer. While some bands can’t really come to the festival scene’s downtown area due to the lack of crowds on the city’s most important music festivals, the music scene seems to be just about up for grabs this summer, as the Canadian scene seems to be coming to life.

As the Canadian scene gets more and more global, it’s almost more important for Canadian heavy metal to be in the same market place, to be a place that is going to be a bigger part of Canadian music. You can’t be in Chicago as much as people who can come here, says Kristy. That’s going to
