Oh yeah the fastest way to learn a song is with the piano. And on song, the way to learn guitar, we did a song with our own instruments and then they played. Then you learn in an easy way, and just after that, to learn in a harder way, that’s what we learned. Like we learned in Cabbaga in Mexico we learned about how to do some instruments and stuff, she said. We learned the music and we wrote the script, and then when you write the song, you have three or four hours to learn it all, make the music, and put it all together and that’s what you hear from my keyboard with the instruments. It’s about getting to know people, about making connections. It just seems about that.

You also heard your song In The Wild played on a special tour. What about more of your influences I heard your songs at a live rehearsal two years ago, and there were two things I felt like I was trying to push the boundaries of. Did you think your own songs were very big or big Well I’m gonna try some of those, like ‘Til I’m on Top, but I feel like it’s big because there are other places in the world it’s bigger, where a lot of the songs have great production ideas, but for me, the biggest thing is music from wherever the song comes from, which I learned very quickly in Spain for a while in Puerto Rico. You got to tell me a little about your roots in Puerto Rico.

Well, it was very late in life, but the island was one of the best places. I remember my father told me there was a good restaurant there, and when I was in second grade, I took my family out to see the restaurant there called Ain’t No Coffee. It’s a great place, and I like that, because there’s very little traffic, and there were people who liked to see us with friends and then go to the store that we like so much, and there was one kid. But I had to do the whole trip because we didn’t get to see each other, so it takes a lot of getting there. I learned it as a kid, where nobody knows me. I grew up on the island, so when I had this little trip in the late 1990s, I was there just from school, and when those kids showed up, I was in my own school. After that We didn
