On this page we’ll be sharing how to get started with a new Linux distro in Ubuntu 17.04 LTS. We’ll be taking you through every step involved in the process and giving you a general idea of what Ubuntu Core and Ubuntu will look like when you’re ready to get started.
So head to our Ubuntu Core Development page and search your way to our Ubuntu Core installation directory. The first thing to do now is install Ubuntu Core. Once you’ve got Ubuntu Core, you’ll be able to enjoy a new desktop setting you don’t normally get.
Next you’ll be asked to choose which distro to install Ubuntu Core on, so keep that in mind if you’re new to Ubuntu Core and want to use a distro that’s more suited to your needs.
Finally you should now be able to begin playing with Ubuntu Core and its latest stable releases. Enjoy
Download Ubuntu Core
To install Ubuntu Core on an Ubuntu 16.04 platform
Open a terminal or run shell on your machine and type in Ubuntu Core or Ubuntu Linux for 32-bit users on an Intel or AMD machine (as long as the machine does not share a common graphics interface) Then double-click Run as Administrator and hit enter to run Ubuntu Core (sudo .configure sudo usrbinapt-get install ubuntuinstall-ubuntu)
Once the installer is downloaded, you’ll be done with the setup.
