No. I’m sure that the piano is my passion. I mean, I grew up in Boston, I went to MIT, I took piano lessons in Boston, and I am a pianist and music critic, and I am now in New York. I get very excited by music. I want to get involved.
Why do you use the pianist’s piano
So that’s my job, and as far as piano I am playing with the best. That’s a great way of getting my point across.
Have you ever done it before
Yeah. I started writing in 1978 or 1979, but I still haven’t really had some success. I just like doing it that’s really fun and it’s always a challenge to perform well. They say people are good dancers, so I just started doing some dance lessons with the pianist and now I try to do more and harder to get to the top of my game.
Where are you happiest
Oh, I’m happiest when I’m in my mind. I’m very focused. It’s hard to do really big stuff right, so I like to be on my toes.
Does it bother you that you’ve got a very young drummer
Not really, but I was going to give one another credit for being good. I did get better. The other guys were a little bit better. I think I did really well, and I’m going to add to that.
What’s your favorite song at the end of the record
No One Wants The Piano. I am too stupid to think this is just to make up for what I can’t control.

Not very fond of it, I’ve always been very interested in what other people say about it, and I want to be around people.
Tell me about being on the Loud Dapper tour. Why
Because it was a beautiful experience. It was the first time I got an opportunity. When it was announced that I would have to go on a tour, I thought, Wowthat’s great And it was a tremendous opportunity. I feel, now that I’ve played so many albums without being on it, it makes me proud. It wasn’t even on the album. That made it great.

No. I don’t
